Job Description

Horticulture Services seeks candidates for a full-time Account Manager position to begin August 1, 2024. The fundamental purpose of the position is to serve as the primary company contact for clients as assigned by the Sales and Marketing Manager.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s landscape maintenance procedures and processes, and be able to fluently communicate those to the clients.
• Maintain and protect the company’s professional image while interacting with clients and while performing other job duties.
• Exhibit the company’s core values to both clients and other employees.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks. 

Education: 

• At least a four-year undergraduate degree (e.g., B.A. or B.S.) is preferred, but not required. 

Skills and Qualifications:  

• Customer Service, Horticultural Knowledge, Quality Control, Computer Fluency, Communication, Sales, Time Management, Trainable

Required Licenses : 

• Driver’s License

Wage: 

• Competitive salary paid in bi-weekly paychecks.

Company Vehicle : 

• A company vehicle will be provided (for work use only) and may be driven home at the end of the day.

Telephone : 

• Position requires a smart phone; phone will be supplied by the company.

Computer : 

• A laptop computer will be provided.

Paid Time Off (PTO): PTO cycles on April 1 of each year.

Vacation: Three weeks paid vacation annually; vacation during June and July should be limited.

Paid Holidays (7): New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day (NOTE: New Year’s Day, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, and day after Thanksgiving may be floating if snow removal duties require work on any of those days.)

Annual company party: attendance is required for pay.

Unscheduled time off: 6 paid sick/personal days (i.e., 48 hours); 80-hour maximum accrual.
