Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly self-motivated, relentless and experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join our team at a large Domestic and Import dealership in Missouri. As a Full Time Finance Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing all financial aspects of vehicle sales transactions. This individual will work closely with the sales team to ensure that customers are offered the best financing/insurance options and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. As an individual contributor, the Automotive Finance Manager will play a crucial role in driving the success of the dealership by maximizing profits and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is an individual contributor role that offers competitive compensation of $100,000 per year ++. We are not looking for a "job hopper". Our turnover in this dealership is far below industry standard and we want to keep it that way. Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Work closely with the sales team to structure deals that meet the needs of the customer and the dealership
  • Review credit applications and assess customers' creditworthiness
  • Negotiate and secure competitive finance rates for customers
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork for vehicle sales and financing
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with lenders, ensuring efficient and timely processing of loan applications
  • Coach and train sales team on financing options and processes
  • Monitor finance department performance and make recommendations for improvements
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to sales, financing, and insurance products and cancellations
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and financing options
  • Manage inventory of finance and insurance (F&I) products and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in automotive finance
  • Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products and regulations
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools
  • Automotive Sales License and Notary Public Commission preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
