About the Role
As a Buyer, you will be a crucial part of our team, managing inventory levels, communicating purchase orders, and supporting special projects. This hybrid role offers a blend of remote and on-site work, providing the flexibility you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Process and manage inventory reports, including Buy Reports, Days on Hand, and Purchase Order Reports.
Purchase Orders: Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the system.
Supply Chain Coordination: Handle elevated expedite orders and coordinate to ensure minimal supply chain interruption.
Quoting: Quote standard and smaller dollar items, aligning with company goals.
Order Confirmation: Process purchase order confirmations to ensure accuracy.
Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with the supply base.
Material Disposition: Coordinate the disposition of rejected materials to minimize customer impact.
Invoice Resolution: Support accounting by resolving invoice discrepancies promptly.
Team Contribution: Contribute to a team environment where all ideas and perspectives are encouraged.
What You Need
Education: Bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in a business-related field, preferably focusing on Supply Chain or Purchasing.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a buying/purchasing role.
Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), including the ability to perform VLOOKUPs in Excel. Excellent communication skills.
