About the Role :

EnergyCAP's Technology Division is responsible for the design, development, and operational support of EnergyCAP's SaaS products (Energy & Sustainability ERP).

The Instructional Designer will be part of the Product Management team. They will create and deliver engaging instruction curriculum related to the company's products to new and existing employees and customers. This role involves assessing instruction needs, designing curriculum, developing materials, and conducting instruction sessions in various formats, including in-person, remote, and asynchronous e-learning modules. The designer will work closely with product development teams to stay updated on product features and updates, ensuring that all training materials are current and effective.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Instruction Development: Design comprehensive programs covering product features, benefits, and usage. Ensure programs are scalable and adaptable to different learning styles and needs.
  • Material Creation: Produce instruction materials such as manuals, online learning modules, and instructional videos. Ensure materials are engaging, easy to understand, and accessible.
  • Instruction Delivery: Conduct training sessions in various formats, including workshops, webinars, and one-on-one sessions. Tailor delivery methods to suit the audience and maximize learning outcomes. This includes training employees and customers.
  • Train the Trainer: Prepare EnergyCAP staff to use prepared materials to deliver compelling content to customers and prospects.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Implement assessment tools to measure trainee progress and the effectiveness of training programs. Continuously use feedback to improve training quality and relevance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with product managers, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure instruction design aligns with product development and market needs.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of product updates, industry trends, and training best practices to ensure content and delivery methods are current.
  • Support and Consultation: Provide ongoing support and consultation to employees and customers regarding product questions and best practices.

Preferred Experience & Skills :

Pay Range : $70,000 - $95,000

Pay is commensurate on a variety of factors, including experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
